FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE; Portland, Oregon:  Oprah Winfrey rules the world, which is why I found news of her retirement empowering.  If it works for Oprah, well, then it certainly can work for Mandy Z. I, too, have made a career defining choice.  It has been a two year long thought process, and I am delighted to tell you that I have passed on the salon ownership torch, to someone who I think whole-heartedly deserves it.

While making the right decisions for the salon, my creativity and own personality have had to take a backseat.  It’s this creativity, personality and drive that makes me an incredible stylist, thus I am looking forward to focusing on being behind the chair, rather than running a business. Ironically, I have found solace in a smaller, more intimate space, where I can again be whole and give my best to each and every one of you.  My energy can more appropriately be directed toward the areas in which I have the greatest strengths – making you smile, and giving great hair!

Located in the Activespace building on 17^th and Lovejoy sits a quaint 2 chair salon on the second floor.  There is FREE PARKING in this area.  You will have to go to the elevator located on the street level by the parking lot and buzz #215 to ring up to the salon to be let in.
